The triple box home is an unique structure made out of ISBU's (inter modal steel building units) click here for more information on ISBU's. The structure is made out of heavy duty steel, there's also a wood floor.

Most ISBU's are used and therefore the structure as well as the floor will show some signs of age - which makes the overall concept even more interesting!

As the designer we would like to keep as much of the original material and just do necessary repairs. Of course you as the user/owner could decide to change the colors or even the floor material, you could also decide to use a brand-new ISBU. It's really up to you!

The used ISBU will have some history - there's no log where you can read it - but maybe the ISBU will tell it - or you may feel it. For sure the ISBU is part of our industrial history and deserves a chance after it's first use is over.
